I replaced all my bikes with these valves and these caps. I love that I can keep my gloves on, remove the cap, pump the tire, "air down" again with the cap, and do it all without taking my gloves off twist that stupid Presta nut open and shut when it gets frozen with sealant. This system is such an upgrade. Best thing since the dropper post
Very high quality and a great price for alloy caps.
Like many others, I’ve been less than thrilled with presta valves for a long time but they are so ubiquitous, you just make do with them despite their flaws. I recently read a compelling review on Bike Rumor covering Clik Valve and decided to take the leap. I bought a starter kit, multiple additional cores, and an aluminum pump head. The cores were very easy to swap out and install. My first impression with the adapter was that it felt secure clicking on, the pump gauge gave me instant status, and inflated faster. The release allowed a few psi to escape but I chalked that up to the legacy pump head. Then, I converted my floor pump with the aluminum pump head. Wow! Even better results. The click on was solid, even better inflation, and the release was better with perhaps 1 psi loss. This is my only critical point. I was hoping for essentially zero loss on release but I can live it. Overall, an amazing product for a great value, and awesome alternative to presta. I’m never going back!
Recently converted all six of our bikes from Presta to Clik, and couldn’t be happier. Easy to install the cores in our old Presta valve stems, and the $15 adapter works great on our electric pumps. No more finicky, fragile Presta cores to deal with—just click on and go! Great product!!
Super happy with these Clik Valves. I have converted all of my bikes.
Man i love this clik system they are the best easy and fast, they are reliable and the dust caps are nice well made works prefect im trying to get my friends to switch to clik. The best
I've never liked prestas, so I was eager for alternatives, and happily, Clik Valves work exactly as promised: a big improvement. However, Clik's adapter isn't compatible with all pumps: works on my old Crank Brothers minipump, but not on my new SKS floor pump. On the SKS, the adapter depresses the little Schrader valve button, so instead of inflating tires, the pump deflates them.
But Pro Tip: I screwed the adapter into a $4 Schrader valve extender, and then pushed that into the floor pump's Schrader port -- now it's all good. I guess SKS itself sells its own Clik valve adapter that works on its own pumps. But intentionally or not, I do things the hard way.
First off the product is awesome, they look great but mor importantly one click and the pump is attached, I was able to inflate two new tubless tires with a hand pump ond one previously unmointable tire with a hand pump. Purchased some Clik valves from my bike store and installed them on my bike easily but had some questions. Clik was new to the store, so the salesperson was strugling on answers.
Texted Clik customer Service and the conversation started instantly (No Bot). I got educated and the CSR was conversational, informative and knowlegeable. He solved some fitment issues as well as pump solutions. My experience caused me to purchase additioal valves and pump heads as well as an entire stem valve kit.
These Clik valves are so much easier to use than Prestas, and I appreciate that they immediately seal themselves and don't get stuck open. I've bent a few of the tiny threaded rods on Presta vales, so I like that Cliks don't have that exact failure mode.
Just switched my primary bike to Clik valves and I’m ready to make the system standard for all three of my bikes. The valves/pump adapters make life so much easier, and the gauge lid perfect for pre- ride checks.
This is a really nice n mechanical tour pressure gauge. My previous 4 tire pressure gauges were each digital. They were fine, but I like not having to worry at all about running out of battery power, either at home or on the road. Nice looking gauge, with an equally nice-looking case. Nice feel to both.
I’m recommending these as a MUST HAVE to all my biking friends. Get a pack of clik valve cores, and a pump head upgrade. Can’t forget the clik valve pocket gauge. I got all three and I love em! Awesome products. Never going without them moving forward especially for latex set-ups.
Upgrading to the clik valve set
-up is, without question, the way to go. ESPECIALLY if you’re riding latex. And shout out to Matthew as well for the phenomenal customer service. 11 out of 10 stars for these guys. Cheers and thank you for the awesome product.
This is game charger good! No lie, I will never go back!
Works great with my tubeless setup too! Amazing!
Bought this to use with my Silca Elettrico inflator. Works well both directly attached to the inflator or to the extension hose.
Overall a decent upgrade to my gravel bike and solves the annoying problem of bent presta valves. Unfortunately I have not noticed a significant improvement in air flow which was the reason I originally bought them. But the connecting mechanism and durability are a really nice improvement over presta valves. Basically the best of presta and schrader valves.
Tired of fighting presta valves especially when using my compressor. I’ve only had the clik valves on a short time, but I’m very happy that I did it.
Love my Clik valves. Just clik on a pump up.
They just work! No air loss, easy push on/ pull off.
I'm adding these to all my under saddle tool bags so that I my e-pumps and CO2 cartridge pumps can be used with the Clik valves on my bikes
We've been fussing with Presta since 1890. Clik valves are where it's at. Solves an everyday annoyance.
So far these valves have been pretty plu-and-play with all of my bikes. They work well, and provide clear feedback that your pump is locked-on.
I converted multiple bikes to Clik valves several months ago and was initially very impressed. The ease of use is excellent, and when they work, they’re by far my favorite form of MTB valve. (I was previously using Filmore valves.)
The trouble is that they clog; some valves more quickly than others for some reason. I have tried every suggestion in the FAQs, from using all manner of angles when inflating and deflating, to soaking in alcohol, etc. But when you air up your tire and the valve sticks open and you can’t make it close, it’s extremely frustrating.
When there’s a way to make these clog less easily, I’ll be back.
Clik as a company has been wonderful to deal with, by the way. If it weren’t for the clogging, these would be a five-star product.
