i swapped my valve cores over to click valves. i don't have problems with sealant blocking these, they have not leaked down. i like that the valved doesn't bend.
I recently gave these a try and now I'm a convert. I thought that fiddling with presta valves was not that big of a hassle, but after switching to clik it's so much easier. Now it takes literal seconds to top off a tire and it works exactly the same every time.
Finally bit the bullet after listening to Seth say how convenient it was. Strange how something so simple can have such a positive effect on non riding operations. It just makes all the air operations a non issue. The stems, cores, adapters and gauge are high quality with no fuss. Waiting on that digital gauge to get back in stock to add it to my bag but the analog one is great.
I bought 3 sets of valves and 2 aluminum pump head adapters (Schrader).
I used one adapter on my Lezyne frame pump, just screw the adapter to the schrader end and attach hose to pump and just clik it on and start pumping. It's that easy!! The other adapter is attached to my Prestaflator unit on my compressor, mates right up to it.
I love the quick disconnect on my tires, so I thought I would try it on my air shocks. It works great! No air loss up to 350 psi.
Quality product. Delivery to Australia was slower than expected.
The Clik valve tubes combined with the Clik pump head adapter is the best product improvement of an old technology since the washlet toilet.
The clik system works great. It is a modified schrader valve in a presta body. The ability to easily click the pump head on and inflate is fantastic. I used to constantly bend my valve stems trying to flip the presta pump head handle up. The only drawback is the total commitment needed to the system. You can use a presta head to inflate a clik valve but that defeats the purpose. Unfortunately, it doesn't work the other way. You cannot inflate a presta valve with a clik pump head. So, once you switch over, you are limited to clik only. Also, many presta accessories don't work with clik, like a digital tire gauge. So, I love the clik system for its ease of use, I am nervous about running into a conflict in systems in a bind.
I have been using these on 3 bikes to try them out. No issues with them breaking or losing air, these definitely speed up the process and are priced too good to not try. I use a ryobi cordless inflator and the guage pressure readings seem good.
Got these for cruser bike, alot easier to fill with air, pump has been converted and now works with both my bikes
Quicker than promised. Seem to hold air better than presta
I recently visited family in Wester North Carolina and borrowed a bike. It recently had its presta valves swapped out for Click Valves. I was soon to find out the beauty of this upgrade. I dented a rim on the ride and it created a slow leak. We had a pump with us and I had to re inflate that tire no less than eight times to get back to the car. I know for sure that I would have definitely bent a traditional presta core. These are amazing! I ordered the pro set that evening and swapped out all of my presta cores when I got home.
Love my new Clik values! Massive airflow maps inflation with my floor pump super easy. The pressure gauge is great as well. I was constantly unscrewing presta values with the adapter. This makes life so much easier. Have already recommended these to many!
totally recommend Clik super easy to use and install
I ordered two sets of valves, a pump adapter and pump replacement head, and the CO2 inflator kit. So far I’ve just used the valve cores because I had just replaced the No Tubes sealant, and the adapter worked awesome on my floor pump. I will definitely end up changing it to the replacement head after using the system so far. I know, it seems like such a small thing. No Presta valve. But just like dropper posts, after using it you wonder how you lived so long without it. Honestly, I doubt I’ll ever get tired of just popping the cap off, clicking (see what I did there? 😉) the pump head on and filling up. I already ordered another set of valves for a different bike. Now if they’d just get some of those super duper pressure gauges in stock, I’d be all set.
Excellent product, presta goodbye!!!
Great TPU tubes with a Clik valve already installed. Valve stem is sturdy, so if you need valve stem extenders for your deep aero wheels, there’s no worry to damage the stem, unlike on most other TPU tubes that come with a soft plastic stem.
I’ve been mountain biking for a decade now. And every moment throughout this period I’ve just had a rubbish time with presta valves, namely to do with bending and clogging valves. It got to the point where these issues would appear on a biking holiday and just ruin my vibes.
I put on clik valves and by god my life is sooooo much better. I ordered the aluminium pump adapter alongside the valves which fit my fanatik electric pump perfectly. No battling with air loss, making sure things are perfectly aligned, or other BS.
I now truly have worry free tires for the first time in a decade and I can’t believe it. Even more to the point of showing how great clik are…I ordered their v2 caps which didn’t fit my stems and they sent through their regular push on caps at not charge.
I have no issue if Clik doesn’t become industry standard, they have a customer for life as long as they’re available.
The red fits with the red tubeless valves from Hope. It looks really good.
I've tried Clik on one bike, liked it and will not return to Presta. I've since changed over to Clik on all of our bikes. Easily converted our floor pumps to Clik as well. It's just so much more convenient
A little trouble figuring out how to use it with a compressor to seal tubless but after that it work great.
