I put it on my motorbike, works perfectly.
I really wasn't sure this was a necessary upgrade, but I decided to try out the Clik valves and adaptors anyway. So far, I like this system. I have bent Presta cores in the past, but I can't say it was a major problem for me. I did frequently have problems with Presta valves clogging up with sealant, and I am hoping this is not a problem with the Clik valves. The air flow does appear to be better using both the pump head adaptor and the right-angled pump head, and the connect and disconnect are quick and easy.
These dust caps are a fantastic upgrade. The range of available colors is excellent, but the real highlight is the press-on/pull-off design. It’s a brilliant time saver that completely eliminates the need for threading. Beyond the ease of use, they are incredibly functional, doubling as a handy valve tool and featuring a built-in bleeder to easily let air out.
I've had these on presta valves in two e-bikes for a few months.
I converted one of the big pumps to the Clik head, so I bought the Schrader adapter so I can use that pump on the cars.
"Hey not Presta!" it's great to be able to have one pump in the truck that also makes it quick and easy to work on tubeless tires on the bikes.
Both the Quik Caps and the Premium Caps are high quality items. Both look great. The Premium Caps are larger and therefore more colorful. My preference is to use the Quik Caps as they pull straight off and pop right back on, same as the standard rubber caps. The Premium Caps **** on/off. I can recommend both Caps as good looking finishing touches to your wheels.
A cyclist's worst nightmare is filling a tire that's clogged with sealant. With this type of sealant, the air flows much faster, and what might take you several minutes will be done in seconds.
For me, one of the best inventions I've ever had. So many years struggling to fill a tire, and now it fills in seconds.
Very easy to use with the Clik valves and so much better than the threaded Presta valve caps. The blue color is a nice touch and matches perfectly with my gravel bike’s frame.
Valves work well as advertised BUT WHY bother. Most pumps available today work with presta or schrader valves and in most cases an air compressor is potentially overkill and prone to (tube popping) over inflation. If you’re looking for a “Look at what I’ve got new gizmo” Clik valves are a functional idea but again “Why”
The Clik valve interface is far superior to presta however, I’ve had two cores clog with sealant after only a handful of rides. In both cases the tires went completely flat over night because the core did not completely seal. After removing the cores and cleaning with a pick they are working fine again. Was expecting far better results with tubeless.
I love the way they work, just Clik on and off, Lots of air being pumped in. Also purchased the Clik Dust Caps in the color Orange
Easy switch over on Schwalbe Aerothan
Bye Presta, nice knowing you. Clik is so much nicer. Love the positive engagement. Remember American cars in the 89s, where the switches had all that sloppy play, and the German cars had those sturdy, ultra-solid clicks? Well, Clik is like that compared to Presta.
works great. can be stucked with sealant but can be cleaned easier than presta core
Click is the obvious winner when it comes air valves. Switched my quiver and two pumps over…. Not looking back!
Went all in on the Click Valve system with all of my bikes and the system is truly a game changer. The official aluminum adapter works great with all of my electric pumps and being able to pump up my MTBs without messing with the old Presta valves is just priceless.
I bought one set of clik cores to try it out. What I found out was that this solution has made managing tire pressure extremely easy. No more broken presta valves when trying to pump up tires. I've completed all eight wheelsets with these valves!
AS expected, it gives accurate reading with the right fit to the clik valves
Turns a 1 min pre ride job into a 10 second job.
The new Clik Gen-2 Premium Threaded Dust Caps are by far the best caps for the Clik valve. Threaded is the way to go, and the integrated deflation tip is a must for off-road riding.
